ugh... okay so
i just visited the big on buzznet contest and bumped into interesting faces, and some over rated ones.

There's this guy Debbie rockstar who's pretty funny, really IN YOUR FACE type. Which is cool i guess. I don't know. I'm starting to get really tired of this whole "I'M BRIGHT. I'M BIG" scene.

Its just how many people can relate to that? “I’m different… fucking love me or hate me, cunts!”
fucking 15 year olds that are going threw their adolescence?  Yeah, I think so.

Jeffree star got lucky and did it early, and he got successful. Good for him. That formula isn’t going to work again, especially when the 15,000 people who figured out his tactics of “STFU MAKE ROOM FOR ME” worked and now is being emulated.

Look, we all want to be rockstars. Celebrities even, but lets face it. Anyone who looks in the mirror wishes to be famous since they were 5. People grow up, people pay taxes, people get shit jobs. Its life. And its better to be yourself then some sugarcoated personality that doesn’t give a fuck about you. 

Its nice to glitter and sparkle but we can’t do it all the time! WTF this isn’t studio 54 or Tunnel!

Its fun to be creative, and its fun to pretend, but lets look at the truth, changing your name into JOHNNY ROCKET or JENNYTELLIA isn’t doing anything. Trying to network a group of crazy kids in a nowhere town isn’t going to put you on the map. You’re not nikki six. This isn’t the 80’s. The 90’s warptour has diminished into nothing. You’re not Ru Paul. Andy Warhol is dead. The clubkid scene is dead, and most importantly the drugs are gone with the flashing lights.

Artists get paid shit.

School art programs are incredibly under funded.

And art colleges cost a shit load of money.

You want to spread your glitter and your glamour, do it there, where we need it. And while we’re at it, lets move out of this whole Le disko hangover and move on into a new era instead of staying in the past. I know everything’s been pretty much done before, but there’s no fear in exploring the unknown future.

Get ready for a long lengthy paragraph of splurging self promotion...

I, Briana Garcia, would like a buzznet phone because I have a plain, stereotypical name, but am quiet the opposite.  I have incredibly weird luck, and it randomly turns good to bad to good again, in a manner of minutes. I would update all the time. I have tons of artwork that I would like to show to people. I have weird antics. I know an interesting set of strange twins who are up to a lot of shenanigans. I would have better contact with my boyfriend, who lives a 100 miles away in a city I wish to be in. And… most importantly, I lost my phone! So… I would appreciate a new one.

ps. i don't really give a fuck about being famous. I live in Auburn California (where the hell is that??). I just try and make each day as intersting as i possibly can (unless there is a zombie apocalypse...).
