Pixel Bow & Skull

So today i decided to redo my Twitter icon, seeing as how i just stole my original one from deviant art, and it didn't really fit my style. The first thing i wanted to do is get a good reference. I know i wanted a bow with a skull in it but i wasn't sure how i wanted it to look... eventually i remembered my favorite character from Tiny Tunes - Elmira.

And remembering how badass this skull was from a Purgatori cover, i slapped on that ditty and proceeded to go with what i thought looked meaner:

So... what have i been up to?

Well for one, i dyed my hair pitch black because i didn't want to a) keep frying my hair b) deal with dying it all that time. Yeah yeah, i looked cooler with blue hair, blah blah blah. But point is: i don't really give a shit. And trying to keep up with my hair is just one extra thing i don't want to have to deal with right now.

Recent Purchases: Make up & Hair

So i finally gave in a bought a crimping iron. I'd figure i'd get a cheap on and see if i like it (plus its on discount this week at ulta).

I liked the way Raquel & Audrey did their bottom layers with the crimping iron so.. i gave it a shot. I liked it over all... i just need my hair to be a bit longer. Maybe i'll give in to buying some black extensions to add more length.

I also bought some MAC makeup for the 1st time and i don't know what i was thinking buying all of this other crap all this time! Mac has really good products that stays on long... and the best part about it is that i see tons of makeup at work thats way overpriced... mac stays true. Its about $5 more than your average drugstore brand (depending on what you're buying) and stays on longer. Plus the colors are really bold.

I'm pretty happy with my purchases ;) Besides mac products i also purchased these few items which i also liked:

My first smashbox & Bourjois purchase. They surprisingly work really well... my lashes would be pretty dead without them.

urban decay...definitely my favorite next to mac. Strong colors + the primer really makes it last

I also just got BIG SEXY HAIR root pump because it was for $5 (actually less with my discount) so that wasn't a bad price... it's usally 17. I'll see how it holds up, if i like it i might stick with it. But you never know, i was pretty content with my cheap Garnier moose, haha and you know the old saying, "If it aint broke..."

p.s. Has anyone tried the new Kat Von D make up they're selling at Sephora? Let me in on the skinnny!

Its been a while

Its been a while since i've posted on here, and i've been too busy to keep up with this and my uber account. But instead of getting rid of it or just not updating at all, i'll just update sometimes, lol.

So yesterday i helped my friends Bill & Jenny move out of their humble home. Afterwards we enjoyed some fine hotdogs and stuff, which was fun chillin'. Today my bf and the boys are going to help them unload their stuff into their new home in Sac, and then throw a nice rager (haha, rager.. i love saying that. Makes me feel like i'm in the 90s again) ;) The only thing is i hope hope hope hope hope (maybe if i
say it enough times it will come true?) is that i don't have to work tomorrow morning at 5am, because not only is there a cool party, but its the last day Steve is in town before he heads back down to SF. So hopefully this will all work out in my favor.. haha yeah as if. You know the story, "WELCOME TO LIFE"

If not i guess i could just pull an all nighter...

So things are going good at Ulta. I'm finally adjusting, however i'm looking for another job because i need to pull at least 40 hours a week if i want to live in SF by the fall. I might even possibly try to get another job entirely, not because i hate my job, but it would be nice to work closer to home AND get more hours. Damn... its cool having blue hair and all, but sometimes it sucks when it comes to things like this.

Speaking of work, the other day this little girl made a comment that i looked like princesses Jasmine
! Haha, how cute is that? So today i styled my hair like hers. ;)

In other news i need to fill out a DMV form cause i lost my ID at a stupid sports bar... ugh... Ladies, don't wear low rider jeans with small pockets if you plan to only carry your ID and cellphone. Especially if you're getting trashed that night!

I have been having weird dreams though, usually focusing on some kind of monster/zombie attack.

Screen legend Marilyn Monroe was apparently caught on tape giving some guy oral sex.

I have to wonder if she used more than sex appeal to get ahead as the worlds most beloved beauty. However, in the article is does say that:

"He never moves into the shot, indicating that he knew the camera was there, but Monroe never looks at the lens, said Morgan, who saw the footage"

So who knows what really happened.
I guess it will all just have to remain a mystery, much like her death :(
